Judge J. Michael Sharp

J.Michael Sharp, Circuit CourtJ. Michael Sharp is a Circuit Court Judge for the Tenth Judicial District in Bradley, McMinn, Monroe, and Polk Counties. A Cum Laude graduate of East Tennessee State University (1983), with a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Tennessee (1989), Judge Sharp was elected as a Circuit Court Judge in 2008. Prior to his election, he was a partner in Varnell, Burns, and Sharp (1992-2008) and a Special Judge in Bradley County Sessions Court, Juvenile Court and Truancy Court from 1990-2008. He is an active member of First Baptist Church, Tennessee, a Member of the Deacons, Sunday School Director, and involved in many more church activities. He has also served as a past member of the Board of Directors of the Family YMCA, Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce, and a Board Member of Tennessee Christian Preparatory School.
